I am a Chicagoland-based mixed media artist. I received my Bachelor of Arts from The Evergreen State College, and was profoundly affected by the surrounding landscape as I studied visual art and forest ecology in the rainforests of the Pacific Northwest. While I have explored and enjoyed many trades (art-based preschool teacher, cheesemonger, urban forestry consultant), making art has always been my main passion. Besides experimenting with watercolor and printmaking, I very much enjoy lichen, fermented foods, heavy melodies, and learning from my 3 kiddos.
